Stalled

Some weeks, it’s barely worth pumping up the tires.

A scenic ride on the coastal flats didn’t last long in Sunday’s soft powder conditions, so we spent the second half of the ride drinking beer. At least I got this pretty picture.

And tonight’s eagerly anticipated trail ride lasted only long enough for my freehub to die, so I’m having a glass (or two) of wine.

I don’t think this training program is sustainable.

I wholeheartedly endorse this training program and wish to be its poster child.

I'm with Debbie:)

My training schedule this past week was very similar to yours. A couple of cold brews one night. Then a night spent with a couple glasses of wine in front of the fireplace.

All while I could have been out riding. You see, I had no excuses.

Heading to northern MN tomorrow for some sub-zero snow biking and looking forward to it. Finally breaking in that new Pugsley the way it was intended to be broken in.

Keep the wheels turnin'

Way to "taper" Vito! I heard it's wind-chill cold in N. MN.

and, Tim, it is a beautiful picture...
