Another gem from the municipal sign department.
Next post: A report from the 24-hour race. I'll
write it whenever I can once again lift my hands
to the keyboard and form semi-coherent
sentences.
Better yet, maybe I'll write it
under the influence of painkillers and rum.

Good luck -- have a ball! We'll be waiting to hear
and remember
I'll be relaxing by the lake
in the warm sun
on the wide lawn chair
with my feet in the water
and with a beer by my side
for those of you
who can't
...PETE, ARE YOU WITH ME??
Doh!
I'll think of you sometime around midnight and wonder what I was thinking, signing up for this sucker.
24 Hour Races Rock!
I did the 24 Hours of Big Bear in West Va a few weekends back
(and a 12 hour race in VA a month before that)
something great about the test to the body
and the working with a team!
Tim, I'd just like to apologize in advance for dragging you into this thing.
No need to apologize. You'll do your penance by listening to me whimper all night!
Tim,
Good luck. I'll return the favor you did me from this winter. I haven't been riding much lately so while you race and suffer, I will eat food for you, maybe lounge in the hot tub, have a nice glass of wine, sleep in soft sheets etc. It's all for you buddy.
Adam
Adam, did you ever know that you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be. You are the wind beneath my wings.
With you soaking up creature comforts on my behalf, Speedo Boy, I can't help but do well this weekend.
If you get out to Kincaid, stop by Camp Megasorass and hang out for awhile amid our manly aroma.
I didn't know Hunter S. Thompson was a cyclist. Eager to hear 24H updates.
